Who can join right now?

Invited couples only. The workspace itself is open to invited couples in a private beta while we work with a small group. There is no public checkout and no paid signup: the only public way in is to apply. We read every request ourselves and answer it either way.

Does each partner need a separate subscription?

No. One case covers both partners. One of you sets it up and invites the other, and from then on you are both looking at the same record rather than at each other's summaries.

Will it tell us whether we are doing it right?

It will show you what is recorded, what is outstanding, and who owns the next step, with the official source beside each item. It does not judge eligibility, predict timing, or say a case is complete — those belong to the agencies and, where a matter is complicated, to a qualified immigration professional.

One case. Two partners. The same page.

Forms, receipts, dates, and agency updates can end up in separate places. If one partner is keeping track, the other may have to ask for a recap. Togetherward brings both partners to one case timeline, shared documents, and assigned tasks.

What a shared case actually holds

A timeline of what has happened, with the date it happened and who recorded it.
Documents and evidence in one place, with what each item is for rather than a folder of filenames.
Tasks with an owner, so “someone should do this” becomes one named partner.
Notes and updates you log yourselves — for example what an agency email said — with the date you logged them.

When no task or deadline is due, the shared view says so based on what you’ve recorded.

Both partners can contribute

Both partners can add information to the shared case and see task owners and due dates. Personal inboxes stay private; add an update to the case when you want both partners to see it there.

What we can and cannot see

On a case with encryption enabled, protected content — uploaded files, shared notes, case memories, attorney-question drafts — is encrypted on your device before it reaches us. We hold no key that can open it. Document filenames, exact file types, document dates, and organization details stay inside that encryption. Our servers retain structural records, including a coarse file-type family, so access control and encrypted retrieval can work.

Togetherward never reads a government case system, and nothing here is legal advice. When you want a lawyer involved, you choose what to export and send it yourself. Limited, in-app lawyer access is still in development.
