An editorial review proposal for immigration attorneys
Togetherward publishes plain-language guides about the U.S. family immigration process for couples organising their own case. We are looking for a small number of attorneys and accredited representatives to review that material against the official sources it cites. This page states the ask, the attribution, and — as directly as we can — what we are not offering.
What we would ask of you
- Read one or two guides in your area and tell us where the description of the process is wrong, out of date, or misleading by omission.
- Check that every process claim traces to the official source cited next to it, and flag any claim that does not.
- Flag anywhere our wording could be read as advice about a particular case rather than a description of a published process.
- Tell us where a reader should stop organising and talk to counsel. We would rather send someone to a lawyer too early than too late.
Review happens on published pages you can read right now — there is nothing to install and no account required to look.
What you get
- Named reviewer attribution on the pages you review, with the review date, and a link to your practice — or no attribution at all if you prefer.
- A record of what changed after your review. Corrections are published, not quietly edited.
- Direct influence on how the guides tell readers when a matter needs professional help.
What this is not
- Not a referral programme. We are not offering, and would not accept, a fee-sharing or lead-generation arrangement.
- Not case access. Scoped, revocable attorney access inside a couple’s case does not exist today. Couples export their own material and send it to counsel themselves.
- Not an attorney-client relationship between you and any Togetherward reader, and nothing you review becomes legal advice by being published.
- Not a review of our legal documents. Our own Terms and Privacy pages are unreviewed drafts and are labelled as such; that is a separate engagement.
Look at the material first
The guide library and the two public tools are the material in question. Every page carries its sources, a last-reviewed date, and a correction path.
